The Dingotone Liquid Gold Phaser is a vintage inspired analogue phaser.

The LGP is a 6-stage full analogue phaser that contains precision matched FETs and a unique sweep circuit.  Together, these give a phase tone unlike anything you’ve ever heard!

CONTROLS:

  • Depth – controls the how far the phase sweeps. We’ve added a unique “more” section that takes the phasing out of calm sweeping into something less well behaved.
  • Speed – controls the speed of the phase from leslie territory out to around eight seconds.
  • Level – allows you to tweak the output level. Modulation changes the perceived volume of the guitar, and this extremely useful control allows you to set your volume in the mix so you don’t get lost.

PREMIUM COMPONENTS: The LGP is constructed from premium components and we hand measure and select components where needed.

TRUE BYPASS: The LGP has proper (3PDT) True Bypass. We have worked hard to minimise the inevitable true bypass clicking.

LOW POWER:The LGP operates from internal battery or external 9VDC power (standard “center negative”). Current draw is less than 25mA so it won’t load down your power supply and an alkaline battery lasts 12+ hours.

PEDALBOARD FRIENDLY: The LGP comes in our pedal-board friendly small enclosure (approx. 4½ by 2½ inches).

What does it sound like?

Demos for the LGP may be found below – have a listen to all of them to hear the various characters of the pedal.

Adjustable from calm long sweeps to gritty leslie-ish territory, the LGP gives you exceptional versatility.

What can it be used for?

The LGP is perfect for any genre of music at all…

How was the tone for this pedal developed?

Over 30 years ago we were playing around with a very early analogue phaser that was good, but not quite where we wanted it to be.  We recently dusted off the old design and got to work re-inventing the analogue phaser concept.

We started from the ground up, redesiging the sweep generator, the FET subsystem, the notch frequencies… and more. Phasers are a very mathematical beast and we spent hundreds of hours calculating the effects of different circuit tweaks.

Finally, we used our ears to determine the exact circuit for the LGP.  It is, very much, a musical device.

What will this pedal do for you?

Tone: Something different in a phaser.

Value: You can’t beat the value. You receive a hand-made North American pedal for an excellent price!

Quality and reliability: Every pedal passes over twenty quality tests before it is shipped. We haven’t had a warranty claim in over three years. DingoTone pedals stay on your pedal board – where they belong!
